Our Vision for Ohio

Ohio has long reflected the complexity of America itself — geographically, politically, and culturally. Rather thanfocusing on division, this project centers on connection.
- Northeast (Early June)
- Southwest (End of April)
- Northwest (Late May)
- Southeast (Mid May)
- Central (Early May)
Each region will host events that allow residents to sign the scroll, engage in creative civic expression, and gather in community.
In Northwest Ohio, we are exploring potential stops in Toledo and Sandusky, particularly during Memorial Day weekend when the region welcomes visitors to the Lake Erie Islands and Cedar Point, drawing thousands of people from across Ohio and beyond. This timing offers a unique opportunity to connect with both local residents and visitors in a highly visible setting.
We are also exploring a route that symbolically connects the scroll’s journey to Ohio’s historic role in the ongoing struggle for freedom — drawing inspiration from the paths of the Underground Railroad and the continuing effort to ensure the Constitution applies to all people.
This is not a partisan project. It is a people-powered celebration of democratic participation.
